Hard Problems

There are hard problems to solve on the run-up to the first Transformationist governments and hard problems to address throughout the Transformation.

These include support and consent (getting elected), devising the new economics, planning for the transition, and short- and long-term policy development.

Consent

Few really enjoy the current system, but change is scary. We need fully informed democratic (not manufactured) consent to move forward.

Model

Everything hinges on the creation of a new economic model that can fully replace social capitalism without threatening global prosperity and liberty.

Plan

A transformation plan will be needed, a) to avoid panic, and b) to prevent elites from derailing the plan through mass punishment.

Policy

We need to know what it will take to begin working toward fulfillment of the Universals: the core policy commitments of Transformationism.

Energy

We need a strategy to immediately draw back fossil fuels: we need a plan from energy experts on how to quickly transform to global clean energy.

Expansion

We need to know the minimum number of countries to begin the project (i.e. can withstand global elite resistance).

The Hard Problems Guide

The Hard Problems Guide is being created to help Transformationists organize their work on the hard problems.

Different problems need different different experts and have different stakeholders. Participants will work in teams called Circles.

After elections and during the Transformation, government activity will transform to be organized in Circles.
