Forests depleted, land eroded, soil degraded, landfills sprawling, concrete and asphalt everywhere in sight. Our beautiful land scarred and defaced.

Aquifers and rivers dwindling. No unpolluted waterways to bathe in or even walk alongside. Our precious water poisoned and squandered.

Sickened, emaciated habitats, lost wetlands, vanishing wildflowers, habitat destruction, genetic corruption. Fire. Our beautiful plants twisted, tortured and burned.

Habitat loss. Mass extinction. Exploitation. Factory farms. Disease. Plastic filling the guts of birds, fish and mammals. Insects vanishing. Our beautiful animal cousins used, abused and painfully slaughtered.

Oceans infested with waste, droves of plastic washing up on every beach, plastic in every cupful of ocean water. Bleached reefs. Our once-abundant and beautiful ocean suffocated and pillaged.

You can’t even walk up and down the street without inhaling lungfuls of cancerous pollution.

Our once-perfect sky turned into a death machine.

Hang your head in shame.

This is a disgrace.

Transformationists will end this madness. We will take immediate action to accelerate the end of fossil fuel and plastic destruction. We will make sure our scientists, engineers, farmers and builders have all the resources they need to accelerate the clean energy and clean production transformation everywhere on Earth.

We must commit ourselves to clean living. We can survive the polycrisis with wisdom, love, science, engineering and ingenuity. We can learn to thrive without harming the biosphere, polluting the geosphere, or destroying our economies. Don't let some insufferable conservative know-it-all tell you otherwise. It's time for goodness to shine.
