Abundance

Take a look around, my friend. Since the last ice age, resources on this Earth have never been scarce.

In the past, our crops may have been vulnerable to weather and plagues. We’ve occasionally shot ourselves in the foot while hunting an animal to extinction.

Today, the only scarcity we face is what we cause ourselves by destroying our bodies, lands, air, waterways and oceans with chemical pollution; needlessly delaying the clean energy transformation to support a needy and destructive class of millionaires and billionaires; and stupidly maintaining an economic and political hierarchy that consistently fails to deliver on literally every possible metric.

STOP shilling for billionaires. STOP electing the same left-right fools over and over again. WAKE UP to the wholesale squandering and destruction of the natural abundance that the Universe has provided for ALL of humanity.

Stop living in denial. It’s capitalism that creates scarcity.

If we can put a stop to that – as we morally and existentially must – we’ll find a planet abundant with all that we’ll ever need to survive and thrive.

We can restore our waterways and agricultural lands. We can prevent further destruction to the oceans and eventually heal this world. We can live peacefully together.

Scarcity is a capitalist lie.

Troy's Bucket

We could be on the cusp of unprecedented scientific breakthroughs—an age of scientific progress that will enable us to do amazing things. Things like clean energy, clean agriculture, milestone cures and treatments in health care and mental health care, clean construction, clean automation, and honest AI devoted to human well-being.

But it’s all over the second we ride up Troy’s Bucket.

It simply won’t happen if we allow the tech-bros, their millionaire financiers, and their political stooges and shills to continue destroying the biosphere and carrying out their plan to eradicate resistance and live forever while the majority fight to the death for their scraps and our children descend into a depraved virtual world of gambling, scamming, fighting, porn and hate.

It’s ordinary people that have actually done the work of creating what little prosperity we have (what little isn’t sucked up rich mosquito snouts). It’s ordinary people out there fighting for social justice, for health care, ordinary people fighting to save the biosphere, the beautiful and bountiful Mother Earth, who created us and sustains us, who longs only for us to honour her, live long, and prosper.

There are more than 8 billion human beings in the world, and billions more will be here soon.

That’s more than enough talented and hard-working people than we need to provide nutritious food, ethical clothing, environmentally safe and comfortable housing, clean water, clean, abundant energy, good health and quality of life for everyone.

That’s more than enough health care workers, teachers, builders, growers, engineers, trades people and creatives, more than enough without having to exploit women and children in sweatshops or force anyone to work 12 hours a day.

We must seize this moment to shed the history of capitalist and socialist exploitation and embrace abundance for all human kind.

Scarcity theory is no longer relevant to human life.

Now let’s go get that rich stuff.

TRANSFORMATION. IT'S TIME NOW.
