Let’s face it – technology is freaking awesome.
From hand axes to gene editing, technology flourishes with humans. With science and engineering, even more. But if we’re the stuff dreams are made on, the dream is quickly turning into a nightmare.
We have to wean technology off dirty energy and exploitation before we gadget and exploit ourselves to death.
Technology: how to have your cake, and eat it too.
Our ingenuity (and with capitalism – a lack thereof) got us into this mess, but with the proper moral guidance, our ingenuity (and Transformationism) can get us out of it.
Transformationists will de-incentivize dirty tech and re-incentivize moral goodness in industrial production. Universal human well being will be the pillar at the heart of all industrial production in the era of Transformation.
Technology is great, but it’s over-incentivized by profit and private wealth. We need more scientists working in clean energy technology and the clean energy transformation of agriculture, construction and engineering.
The process is as important as the end product. Production must use clean energy and ensure worker prosperity. Further, we must automate to the fullest extent possible to liberate humans from the shittery of capitalist industrial production.
In the mad rush for profit and private wealth in the last few centuries, technology came untethered from quality, morality, responsibility, health and goodness.
Industrial production must be steered back onto a moral course. Capitalism and communism are incapable of this. Only Transformation can can take us into the new era of well being and prosperity.
