The Entertainment and Sport Circle

For children, this Circle protects access to sports, regardless of economic status.

For communities, this Circle protects physical spaces for sports and entertainment.

Not everyone enjoys sport, but all humans want and deserve access to entertainment.

Nurturing and cultivating participation, achievement and excellence in sport should not be restricted to the wealthy and nor should it be incentivized by the usually false promise of obscene wealth. All kids need access to sports resources and no one should need the promise of obscene riches to achieve greatness.

Entertainment is the ‘consumption’ side of creativity and the arts. It includes TV and movies, but also social entertainment like theatre, dance and games. No human should be excluded from entertainment in their community because of economic status or gender.

Sports and entertainment ‘stars’ and ‘executives’ are overpaid. A privileged few get countless millions for kicking balls, acting, and masterminding the exploitation, while millions of working humans go without even basic nutrition and housing, never mind access to sports, arts and entertainment. This is a symptom of a corrupt and warped economic system. We must transform our way of thinking and our economics to fix this stupidity.
