Despite hundreds of years of rampant unchecked industrialism and banking, capitalism has failed to deliver quality, secure housing for most of the world’s 8 billion people. And now, even developed countries are facing a disastrous housing crisis with not enough homes and mortgage and rental costs spiralling out of control.
2
Capitalism continues to fail to deliver affordable, healthy food for billions of people. Even in so-called developed countries, millions eat cancerous garbage and rely on food banks. On top of that, while big-agro poisons our food, land, sky and waterways, the price we pay for this shit is actually going up.
3
While banking trillions for themselves, destroying our environment and polluting our cities, capitalists completely failed to deliver energy security, leaving millions to go cold or live in suffocating heat and pollution – even in the so-called ‘developed’ world.
4
Despite the disgusting polluted air in our towns and cities and decades of warnings about fossil fuels and global warming, capitalism continues to fail to deliver the clean energy transformation – while investing even more in fossil fuels and reaping billions for themselves in profit.
5
The ancient human practice of deforesting for agricultural land, fuel and industry has been ramped up to distastrous levels under capitalism, causing massive habitat loss, species collapse and global emissions. Even today, capitalist deforestation continues at disgraceful levels in some of the world’s most important habitats regardless of the known consequences.

Billions of people worldwide work slavery hours for poverty wages, often in dreadful conditions. Even in so-called developed countries, millions of children live in poverty. Capitalism has completely failed to deliver good wage economies – and global prosperity has become a distant dream.
7
Thanks to capitalism, we’re living in an unprecedented age of addiction. Drugs, nicotine, alcohol, sugar, fat… poisonous chemicals in our air, water and food, social media driving isolation and hate, they can’t seem to find enough ways to destroy health – making trillions of dollars for themselves in the process. And far from delivering health care for all, most people have no affordable access to good health care and even in so-called developing countries, health care systems are in crisis.
8
In the so-called developed world, women have had to fight with tooth and nail to wrestle equality from capitalists, and even today there are still unacceptable wage gaps and opportunity costs for women. In the rest of the world, women face even worse treatment at the hands of capitalists, forced to work long hours away from home for poverty wages, and are excluded from many careers and senior positions.
9
Under capitalism, debt has boomed. From mortgages to credit cards to car loans to municipal and national debt, across the developed world and even worse national debts in the developing world. And despite ever increasing tax burdens on the middle and lower classes, debts go up and public services actually deteriorate.
In the meantime, ordinary people are burdened with endless tax, benefit, insurance and debt forms and seemingly endless fees and penalties.

While ordinary people struggle to live and raise their kids, capitalists are flooding the world with guns and weapons of mass destruction. Millions die every day while capitalists stuff their greedy mouths with caviar and fly around in private jets.
