transformationism

Transformation Welcomes You

Transformationism is a new political and economic paradigm. It proposes the replacement of capitalism and socialism with a way of life that aligns with a transformational World, the abundance of what is given us by the Universe, human moral Universalism, meaningful democracy, depoliticized problem solving, and stewardship of our relationships within Nature.

Transformationism is anti-capitalist, but it is NOT communism.

Transformation

Social capitalism is a failure. Capitalism and communism, and their many deluded and deranged ideological offspring, are twisted experiments that drag humans into depravity and are punishing our species and ecology to the brink of catastrophic loss.

Clinging to old ideas – a dire intellectual error and the cornerstone of conservative ideology – has become the single greatest threat to our survival. It’s beyond time to try something new.

Our economic and political agreements define who we are and form our way of life.

We need agreements that are adaptive to an ever-changing emergent world. We want economic agreements that truly reflect the value we place in our loved ones. We need to Transform our agreements and relationships. That’s why we need Transformationism.

Abundance

Scarcity of resources – an axiom at the heart of capitalism – is bullshit. The earth is abundant, and so are we, and we work hard… So where’s the prosperity?

Where there is scarcity, capitalism is the root cause. Think about it. Water: polluted. Air: polluted. Soil: stripped of life. Homes: un-built or exploited. Wealth: concentrated. Resources: monopolized. But weirdly, debt is ubiquitous and prosperity scarce. It’s obvious my friend. Connect the dots.

The Universe gives us everything we need to prosper. In Transformationism, we call these the Givens. The agreements of capitalism and socialism fail to understand, protect and nurture these Givens, allowing their misuse and abuse by corrupt and dangerous sects of our species.

It is insanity to expect the same warped agreements that got us into this mess to miraculously get us out of it. Things will get tragically worse if we do not wake up to this fact.

It is insanity to further delay reclaiming the clean air, clean water, and healthy and abundant lands and oceans that nature offers.

But thanks to industrial capitalism, a vampire ‘class’ of despicable and amoral millionaires and billionaires, and the bottomless pit of oil-fueled consumerism, we spit in the face of Mother Earth – who, despite our selfishness, only wants what is best for us.

Universalism

Universalism is the foundational moral economic principle, the agreement at the moral core, or Transromationism . It calls us to strive for unhindered global access to all the Goods we create with what the Universe gives us.

Conservative paradigms, on the other hand, (including both capitalism and communism as well as some religious paradigms) reify violence, toxic masculinity, destruction, patriarchy, privilege, nationalism, racism, misogyny, religious hatred, transphobia, homophobia, exclusion and discrimination, exploitation and slavery, coercion and oppression, and the sacrifice of families, women, children, the vulnerable and the elderly on the altars of ideologies, gods and money.

Let’s purge the World of conservative ideology and its inherent hatred and violence now and for all time*. We need, and all our loved ones deserve, a way of life that includes and benefits everyone – Universally.

Democracy

The failure of the left-right political spectrum (LRPS) and its economic correlate – the socialist vs. capitalist monetary ‘system’ – is the root cause of our failure to thrive in modernity. It has infected every country and every corner of human life with its profoundly divisive and destructive competition for money.

Despite the plain and obvious fact that we are living through a disaster, adherence to these foolish and spectacularly stupid economic and political doctrines persists.

Transformationism will expose the intellectual and moral credulity of capitalism, social capitalism, communism and the global monetary system. The LRPS is not fit for purpose.

We must extirpate the LRPS from our democracies before its poisonous divisiveness drags the entire world into war and tyranny – AGAIN.

Solutions

The Universe is like a novelty machine and humanity, as a part of the Universe, is as well. With every new day, new challenges and opportunities arise for the restless natives of this restless world.

But conservatives fear change and try to keep everything the same (to conserve). That’s why they keep pushing the same antiquated, dysfunctional and maladaptive ideology and policies (that never work anyway, by the way). Conservative ideology is, by definition, incapable of novelty.

Change is a constant. Novelty is required. That’s why we are stalled in the face of massive environmental decline. That’s why we can’t fix poverty. That’s why we can’t fix corruption. That’s why we can’t fix privilege. That’s why prosperity eludes us.

Transformationism proposes the creation of The Hard Problems Guide along with interactive Transformationist Circles of activity, that can work together to solve the existential problems that the unchecked rampage of industrial capitalism and socialism have created.

Stewardship

The economics of self-interest is poisoning our oceans, skies, lands, waterways and communities. We must end this madness.

It’s becoming clearer and clearer everyday that social capitalism and the LRPS doesn’t have what it takes to get us to clean living. Far from it. They’re actually working hard every day to pull the wool over your eyes and, in their stupidity, accelerate the destruction of the biosphere. Some of them actually want you to die because they believe there are too many humans in the world, especially humans that won’t work for a pittance or die on demand.

But it’s their eyes that are blinkered. Blinkered by social capitalism, their archaic and destructive beliefs about human nature, and the global monetary system. They can’t fight pollution and climate change because capitalism and socialism are conservative ideologies that cannot produce solutions to novel problems. In other words, they cannot adapt to a world in constant change because they believe in trying to keep things the same (and the money rolling in). That is maladaptive, and a species that cannot adapt dies.

I mean, the best idea they’ve had yet to address climate change is tax. Wow genius. Such brilliant.

We must act now to transform our economic and political agreements – our ways of life – and begin the long and difficult process of healing our species and our Mother Earth.

Language Notes

* Under ‘Universalism’, above, I wrote:

Let’s purge the World of conservative ideology and its inherent hatred and violence now and for all time.

Throughout this website you’ll encounter some strong language about conservative, capitalist or socialist ideologies.

I do believe, and you should too, that our species will only survive immanent existential crises and thrive in the future if we move past conservatism (the right/left, capitalist/socialist monetary system).

However, my words here are about conservative ideologies and beliefs, not about the human beings who hold those beliefs. Those people don’t need to fear for their lives or well being from Transformationism. I am a non-violent person, and you should be, too.

Transformationism is a non-violent ideology. If you actually look at society today and throughout history, you’ll clearly see that it is conservatives, capitalists and socialists, and their blood-soaked ideologies, that continue to flood human life with exploitation, violence and sexual violence, nature with destruction, society with guns and the world with weapons of genocide.

As Transformationists, we must resist and deny the urge to use or incite any kind of violence against people to achieve our goals. We must Transform human life with healthy moral agreements and relationships, both with each other and all mother Nature. We must be the ambassadors and harbingers of peace and goodness.

Having said that, we must also stand strong together in the face of the rising tide of conservative violence that is threatening to undo centuries of progress toward the good, and I will use strong and unforgiving language about conservative ideologies. Conservative beliefs have no place in a moral world. They are intrinsically exploitative and violent.

If you feel tempted to use violence or destruction toward ‘leftist’ or ‘environmentalist’ goals, DON’T. Become a Transformationist instead – start the T:Party in your town. Do something constructive to help move the Transformation forward. Don’t waste your time waving placards and spraying paint on things. Our goal is the peaceful transfer of power through informed democratic consent to bring about the end of capitalism and socialism for the good of all humans and for all prosperity.

If we fail at that, then we fail. If conservatives win, they’ll lose anyway – because they will inevitably destroy themselves and the world.

But rest assured, my friend, even if we fail, somewhere in this vast and wondrous Universe of ours, a Good species will survive and Transform their world. So Transformationism will win, ultimately, somewhere. But in order for that to happen, we have to try everywhere, and, who knows, it might just, someday, be us.

Visit the Universalism home page. Universalism and the Universals are detailed here.

These are the policy commitments of Transformationism.

This includes universal health care, education (eliminating loans, universal kindergarten), and many more universal goods that we are called upon by simple goodness itself to strive and care for.

Each Universal has its own page for you to explore.

Visit the Circles home page. Transformationism suggests that human economic and political activity be understood as interactive, embedded and fluid Circles of activity. This new conceptual structure will organize human activity both during and after the Transformation.

The methodology and theory of Circles is explained, and each of the Circles has it’s own page for you to explore.

Humanity faces multiple crises (a poly-crisis) that arise from our failure to understand the impacts of the expansion of the capacities of human consciousness, self-awareness and knowledge, coupled with a global ‘echo-system’ of ‘dog-eat-dog’ mammalian conservative ideologies.

The Hard Problems Guide lays out these crises to aid the formation and organization of interconnected working groups (the Circles) that will address these issues without politicization.
