Conservatism, racism, poverty, underfunded education and mental health services, capitalist exploitation and manipulation… all these contribute to failure and widespread distrust of police and security services all over the world.
Policing doesn’t have to be violent, racist or fascist. But it’s always been like that because society has always been impoverished, conservative, racist, patriarchal and elitist.
I know there are good people in policing and many just want to do good. Personally I have seen police do both good and bad things. But the overall trend is undeniable. Under capitalism and socialism, policing continuously fails.
Policing has always failed to provide safety for millions of women, children and other vulnerable people. It has failed to deal with the chronic drug trade, which itself is a capitalist enterprise that flourishes precisely because of the failure of legal capitalism to guarantee prosperity and nurture mental health.
Policing and capitalism, together, have failed to deal with global, capitalist chronic abuse of financial tools for money laundering and tax evasion.
The people that suffer the most are the poor and vulnerable (not to mention cops themselves). That’s why wealthy capitalists and their political stooges don’t give a fuck about you or your children’s well being. That’s why they build cheap-shit prisons and allow society to be flooded with drugs and guns.
Wake up and smell the coffee and donuts. If you want peace and security, you need Transformationism.
We all want to believe in the fairy tale image of heroic cops and detectives presented to us in the mainstream media. Good people working hard and risking their lives to stop crime. Help them to help you. Help them by ending capitalism and communism and ushering in a new era of universal well being and prosperity.
